The Clinical Skills Centre at Edinburgh Medical School is a friendly, flexible learning environment designed to support a wide range of educational activities and informal practice. While the centre is used primarily by our undergraduate medical students, we’re delighted to also host many multi-professional courses throughout the year.

Our facilities include:

  • A four-bedded simulated ward equipped with SMOTS™ camera technology
  • A five-bedded simulated ward equipped with SMOTS™ camera technology and a SMART board
  • Four mid-fidelity manikins with clinical monitoring
  • A dedicated simulation room featuring SimMan® and SMOTS™ technology
  • Harvey® — our cardiopulmonary patient simulator
  • Comfortable teaching rooms for group learning and skills development
