Contact the Postgraduate Admissions Team Eligibility criteria To study at postgraduate level you need to hold an undergraduate degree, with an excellent or very good classification (equivalent to first or upper second class honours in the UK). Some non-UK applicants who are applying for a PhD will also require a Masters degree. Please check the entry requirements by country. International equivalent degrees Degree certificate We require a scanned copy of your original undergraduate or most recent degree certificate. Final degree transcript A degree transcript is a record of the courses you have taken and grades achieved throughout a degree programme. The transcript is normally given together with the degree certificate. If you do not have a final transcript you should send an interim academic transcript in order for your application to be assessed on courses and marks to date. References References must be submitted on formal headed paper, and signed and dated by the referee. The reference must be on the headed paper of the referee's institution and signed & dated by the referee. Information should include the following: Title and position of referee How long they have known you and in what capacity Their opinion of your ability to manage the study required on this programme Any additional information they may feel is useful. Evidence of English language proficiency If English is not your first language you must provide evidence of good written and spoken English skills. The level of English language qualifications that are required depends on your programme. English language requirements Research proposal & CV A research proposal and CV are required for MSc by Research and PhD research degrees. Applicants must contact a possible supervisor within our Research Centres in the College prior to submitting an application.
