During my postgraduate training I completed the MSc in Clinical Education, graduating in 2014. Image I began working as a consultant in NHS Lothian in 2014 and have furthered my interest in clinical education by taking on a number of roles. I am the lead examiner for the FRCEM Primary examination and am the deputy module organiser for the undergraduate Emergency Medicine rotation. I am also part of the faculty for the MSc in Paediatric Emergency Medicine at the University of Edinburgh. I am particularly interested in innovative ways to overcome some of the challenges of delivering medical education and as part of this I co-founded an education website for our Emergency Department which saw our team gain a high commendation for ‘Education Team of the Year’ at the BMJ awards in 2016.
