Ethical Code and Data Consent Form

On the 1st of September 2018, new students will have access to PebblePad, the MBChB online submission tool. There will be an online form to submit via PebblePad by the end of Welcome Week, which will include the MBChB Ethical Code and Data Protection Agreements. Further information about this will be available in mid-August.

Reading Guide

Although we do not recommend buying books until you arrive and have got a feel for what might work best for you, we still get many requests for book lists, so we have made one available below, although there may be some more recent editions of these books now in print. Please remember, this is not a requirement, so do not feel you have to buy or read any before you arrive.

Form to Be Submitted to the Medical Teaching Organisation

PVG Applications

Those who have not had a residential address in the UK until starting this programme will also still need to complete their PVG application. You will receive this in your Welcome Week and there is some time set aside for you to provide your form and associated documents to the Admissions Office.

Original Documents

If you were outside the UK at the time of offer and provided us with certified copies of documents, we will also need to see your original documents during Welcome Week. We will send you an email before you arrive with what we need to see. You can also refer to your outstanding clearance checks on EUCLID for what we require.

Collecting Documents

If you asked for us to keep hold of your documents until matriculation, please make sure you come and collect them during Welcome Week.

Royal Medical Society
