Public anatomy workshops are taking place at the University for a second year. Members of the public are invited to learn more about the human body through a series of lectures and hands-on demonstrations. Exclusive access The experience includes exclusive access to the dissecting rooms in one of the world’s oldest medical schools. Participants will spend a day learning from anatomy experts and will have the opportunity to explore what lies under the skin of cadavers that have been bequeathed to the medical school. Open to all The workshops are open to anyone over 16 years old with a curiosity about the human body. Last year’s event was well-attended by artists, massage therapists, prospective medical students and other health care professionals. Body parts Six workshops covering a different part of the human anatomy are being offered. Each can be attended as a stand-alone educational experience or all six can be combined as an unrivalled course in how your body functions.
