MRC IGMM new building part of Doors Open Day Many buildings around the University of Edinburgh will be open to visitors as part of Edinburgh Doors Open Day 2015. The Cockburn Association (Edinburgh's Civic Trust) organises Edinburgh Doors Open Day. Now in its 25th year, the event has become one of the capital's most popular free days out. This is your chance to explore some of Edinburgh's most architecturally, culturally and socially significant buildings. The new building at the MRC Institute of Genetics and Molecular Medicine at the University of Edinburgh will be open from 10am - 4pm on Saturday 26 September and offers an opportunity to see round the building and find out more about the research that is conducted there.
