Edinburgh BioQuarter today announced the shortlisted entries for the BioQuarter Innovation Awards 2011. These companies were selected from a field of 23 entries submitted by researchers at the University of Edinburgh and NHS Lothian over the past six months. The shortlisted companies are (in alphabetical order): Dr Thierry LeBihan AccuoPept Dr Christopher French Acid Test Dr Bridget Harris; Prof Peter Andrews CerebrAid™ Drs M Auer, S Shave & A Knox CIRINCA Anonymous (currently in patent process) to be confirmed Michael Clapham and Ken Aitchison DietPhone™ Dr Jackie Charlton et al D:UDES Sarah Stock pH Test Dr Felix Agakov Pharmatics Limited Janek Mann and Professor DK Arvind Speckled Computing The quality of entries for this inaugural competition has been excellent.
