Covid-19: Weathering the storm | 03 Mar 2021

The Generation Scotland team share what they've learned from people's experiences of the Covid-19 pandemic across Scotland.

Our lives changed dramatically in March 2020 when we were asked to stay in our homes to try to stop the spread of Covid-19. Every single person in Scotland was in the same storm, but not in the same boat.

Professor David Porteous and the Generation Scotland team spent 2020 capturing people’s experiences of lockdown through a series of surveys called CovidLife, TeenCovidLife and RuralCovidLife. They’ve gathered data shared by people from across Scotland to build a picture of each of our own little boats, and what lockdown has meant for the nation.

David and questionnaire designer Chloe Fawns-Ritchie share what they have found with host Hazel Lambert.
