Research happens everywhere | 03 Feb 2021

Dr Sinead Rhodes shares how she gathers data in the community to better understand people’s experiences of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, autism, depression and anxiety.

Labs are home to the dishes and cells scientists use to explore medical research challenges, but people live in communities so a lot of health research takes place in our schools, homes and local environments too.

Dr Sinead Rhodes is a developmental psychologist whose research group spends a lot of their time gathering information in schools and with children in their homes. She works with young people to learn more about the challenges they face with their learning and behaviour as they grow up.
