For the final event of the series, it's over to you! Our audience told us what they'd like to hear about in this final event of the series. Two topics came up most often: genetics and microbiomes (all the microbes that live in an organism). We've found a researcher whose work combines both and we are delighted to share that Professor Charlie Lees will join us to talk about his work on inflammatory bowel disease. We'll also share information about our summer work experience programme, Science Insights, for people who are currently in S5 at a school in Scotland. PhD student and former Science Insights delegate Sofia Sintoris will join us to answer questions about her career path so far.
