CMVM Postdoctoral Symposium - Thursday 14th November 2024 We are delighted to announce the inaugural CMVM Postdoctoral Symposium which will be held on Thursday 14th November 2024. We hope this will be the first of many! The symposium will help you connect to your peers in other areas of the College or enable you to spend time, outside the lab, with people you work alongside across the College and didn't even know! We hope that by meeting and learning about each other, collaborations will form and you will gain opportunities to learn new skills and share expertise and experiences. You will hear about alternative careers from our range of participants, invited speakers and sponsors. We encourage all postdoctoral / research staff, from all areas of CMVM, to attend and help make this event a success. The symposium will include: Scientific techniques - flash talks* Academic / Non-Academic Professional Panel + Q&A Facilitated Networking/Academic Bingo Careers Fair Representatives from CMVM facilities, IAD, innovators and company sponsors Catered lunch, tea, coffee and afternoon cake Depending on budgets, we may hold a drinks reception after the symposium - the symposium activity will end at approx 4.30pm, extending to 6.30pm if the drinks reception (optional) is viable.
