Science in the Media - Wednesday 21st September 2022 The team at the Science Media Centre are on a mission to provide accurate, evidence-based information about science and engineering to the public through the traditional media. Fiona Lethbridge, the SMC's Science Press Manager, will give a talk about how they work and answer any questions you have about what really happens when science leads the headlines. Head of Research Communications, Edd McCracken, will be available to answer questions about how our University of Edinburgh press team work alongside the Science Media Centre to support research scientists when they share their work or comment on other research issues in the media. Professor Bruce Whitelaw, Director of the Roslin Institute will chair this event. All welcome!
