Eurolife research collaboration

Eurolife is also very keen to facilitate research collaboration between researchers in partner institutions, including combined research funding applications.

Together, the partners bring:

  • Eight world class biomedical research institutions, with enormous depth and breadth of biomedical research expertise (Together, the Eurolife institutions have 35,000 students each year, employ some 10,000 academics and researchers, and a combined operating budget of around €700 million).
  • A formal consortium agreement that has been in place for more than 10 years.
  • Comprehensive research support, with a sound understanding of EU funding mechanisms.
  • Well established inter-institutional links, through years of staff and postgraduate student exchanges and collaborations.
  • A willingness to work together to achieve success.
  • An EC policy influencing role.
