Ebo is a fifth year medical student, originally from Nigeria but who grew up in Paisley. She is co-founder and current president of the University of Edinburgh’s first African Caribbean Medical Society. Following her early years studying medicine at Edinburgh, Ebo identified the need for a society that invested directly into the social and professional development of black heritage students.

In 2023, she co-founded the African Caribbean Medical Society with fellow student Hephzibah Adegoke. The society aims to unite individuals of black heritage across healthcare and biomedical disciplines. Ebo has helped foster a sense of belonging and community and her leadership has helped bridge gaps, enabling students from similar backgrounds to connect, share experiences and celebrate their identity.
