Zoe is a lecturer on the BSc (Hons) Oral Health Sciences programme, a role she has held since 2013. She is a true embodiment of Edinburgh Medical School spirit, having graduated from the programme herself before returning as a lecturer. 

Zoe's achievements are numerous, including being awarded the Programme's medal for Academic Excellence as an undergraduate and completing her PhD in Oral hygiene practice while lecturing and raising her first child. She is a passionate and innovative educator, always seeking out new approaches and sharing her findings with staff and students. 

Zoe is a trailblazer in her field, being one of the few dental therapists to have completed a doctorate. Her dedication, professionalism, and kindness have made her a beloved colleague and an excellent role model for students.

Zoe has also been an ambassador for the Edinburgh Medical School, presenting her research at international conferences and appearing on BBC Scotland to discuss important health issues.
