Olajide Joseph Adebola

Olajide Joseph is a renowned figure in digital health and sports medicine, having graduated with an MSc in Global eHealth from the University of Edinburgh. He has made significant contributions to healthcare policy, athlete welfare, and public health education in Nigeria and beyond. Olajide Joseph spearheaded the development of Nigeria's National Digital Health Strategy, improving governance and modernising the health ICT ecosystem.

In sports medicine, he pioneered Nigeria's first-ever compulsory Pre-Competition Medical Assessment for football players, screening over 9,000 athletes with zero sudden deaths.

 Olajide is also committed to capacity building, delivering over 1,000 health and wellness presentations as president of the Nigeria Association of Sports Medicine. His advocacy inspires healthier lifestyles and safer sports practices, making him a respected figure in his field. Through his work, Olajide has demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication to advancing digital health and sports medicine in Nigeria and Africa.
