Kishan Chand

Originally from the Republic of Fiji, Kishan Chand has a clinical background in general and vascular surgery. He received his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Fiji in 2017. Kishan began his surgical career as a registrar at the Lautoka Hospital and was awarded ‘Outstanding Surgical Registrar’ by the Surgical Department Lautoka in 2020.

 

Kishan entered the Master of Surgery, Vascular and Endovascular Surgery programme at the University of Edinburgh that same year. Alongside his studies, he made outstanding contributions to the Edinburgh Medical School culture as Deanery of Clinical Sciences student representative on the College Student Support Oversight Group. Kishan graduated with distinction in November 2025.
