He got involved in the Medical Students Council early into his time at the University and it remained part of his student experience until he graduated in 2019.His first big project on the Council led to the organisation of the Edinburgh Scottish & Northern Irish Medical Sports (SNIMS) in 2015. Jordan, alongside another student Jake, organised the large-scale sports event across multiple sites, including social nights and accommodation allocation. As Medical Students Council convenor, Jordan navigated the complex relationship between students and staff, ensuring all were heard and listened to. He worked closely with leaders across the School and was well respected by fellow students and staff. Known to be a diligent, hardworking professional, Jordan was intrinsic in the development of the Medical Students Council and ensuring students at the Edinburgh Medical School continued to flourish.
