Eldad is a former student of Edinburgh Medical School, where he completed his Master of Public Health degree with distinction in 2022. He is one of the longest serving and most dedicated members of UNCOVER, conducting and leading rapid evidence reviews to support decision-making during the pandemic. 

Eldad has also set up a consultancy in Ghana, dedicated to building capacity for public health evidence synthesis, and is about to train his first cohort of students. As a public health researcher and clinical optometrist, Eldad has co-authored over 15 peer-reviewed publications and has worked on projects with international health bodies such as the World Health Organisation and the UK Health Security Agency. 

He is an inspiring and collaborative person, with a passion for teaching and mentoring young people, and has made significant contributions to the field of public health, including influencing UK vaccination policy and updating WHO guidance on COVID-19 surveillance.
