David is a leading oncologist globally and chair of the Breast International Group, a Brussels-based umbrella of 57 worldwide academic and not-for-profit groups leading breast cancer trials. As Professor of Medical Oncology at the University of Edinburgh since 1998, he has mentored Edinburgh oncology trainees for over 20 years, inspiring early-career professionals, supporting multiple teaching programmes and championing patient care.
