Jenna is a lecturer and deputy programme director for MSc In Global Health and Infectious Diseases, nominated for her empathetic approach towards students. 

Jenna is from Fife and came to the University of Edinburgh to study for a PhD in neglected tropical diseases in 2002.

Following graduation Jenna worked at the Vet School as a post-doctoral scientist before becoming a member of a group which established one of the first online MSc programmes offered by the Medical School; Emerging and Neglected Infectious Diseases. The programme is now titled Global Health and Infectious Disease and has over 150 graduates worldwide. Jenna is proud to be the deputy programme director.

Jenna provides personalised support to ensure her students’ academic and personal wellbeing.
