Yvonne Odey

Yvonne is a lecturer in reproductive biology and a course organiser on the MBChB medicine degree.

 

She played a leading role in the redesign of course content and collaborated with colleagues to deliver a new birthing practical module and new forms of assessment.

 

A nominee for Teacher of the Year in the Edinburgh University Student Association (EUSA) Teaching Awards, students describe her as “an amazing teacher who goes above and beyond scheduled teaching to make the university experience more enjoyable.”

 

Yvonne also has strong research connections with clinicians and scientists at the University's Centre for Reproductive Health and is actively involved in research to improve fertility preservation.
