Madhurima Nundy

Rima is a graduate of the Master of Public Health programme and a founder member of UNCOVER, the Usher Institute's network of population health researchers and information specialists around the world

She joined UNCOVER when it was set up in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, and is still working and volunteering with the network from her home country of India - and is now the longest standing member.

Rima has contributed to numerous rapid reviews to support decision making in Scotland and the UK and further afield, leading a strand of work that UNCOVER was commissioned to do for the World Health Organisation.

Rima has a mentoring role, mentoring a group of novice reviewers from Bangladesh, who are conducting a review related to climate change and respiratory health, as part of the RESPIRE programme. She is also an external thesis advisor for the Master of Public Health programme at the University of Edinburgh.
