Jennifer Hill

Jennifer has worked for Edinburgh Medical School since 2003. She is a cornerstone of the Edinburgh Medical School community and an exceptional member of the professional services team.

For many years, Jennifer oversaw the final year of the MBChB programme earning the respect and gratitude of countless cohorts of students and staff alike. Over the last seven years, Jennifer has served as the Assessment Officer, playing a transformative role in modernising and professionalising assessment across the entire medical curriculum. 

She has led the introduction and implementation of new digital systems for written exams, objective structured clinical examinations, and portfolio assessments. These initiatives have significantly improved the integrity, reliability and student experience of assessment processes.
