Ulrick is studying for a masters degree in public health with the University of Edinburgh. He trained at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and at Harvard Medical School. Based in Ghana, but studying online, Ulrick is co-founder of the Association of Future African Neurosurgeons (AFAN), a thriving community of over 500 aspiring neurosurgeons across the continent. Its incubator program has trained 49 fellows, many of whom have gone on to neurosurgery residencies or graduate programs, helping to shape the next generation of African surgical leaders. Ulrick is also co-founder of Global Health Unfiltered (GHU), a platform telling untold stories in African health through podcasts, articles, and multimedia.
