Nataysia Maria Mikula-Noble

Nataysia is a medical student and aspiring surgeon known for her strong involvement in research, teaching, and student leadership. 

She began her studies at the University of St Andrews before moving to Edinburgh to complete her clinical training. Nataysia has gained practical surgical experience by assisting in over 140 procedures and has contributed to research with several publications as lead author in major journals. 

Alongside her academic work, she has supported other students by creating a peer-led teaching programme on surgical anatomy, using a hybrid model that combines online and in-person learning. She has also played a key role in organising student involvement in international research projects, recruiting and training a large team of medical students and helping achieve a high global ranking. 

Nataysia has been active in several student societies, contributing to communications and engagement, and has supported public health education through teaching and international outreach work. Her efforts reflect a focus on collaboration, mentorship, and widening opportunities for others in medicine.
