Health is Global Symposium

About the conference

Researchers, staff, students, and health practitioners from across Edinburgh and beyond are invited to join the Health is Global research symposium, part of the programme marking 300 years of Medicine at the University of Edinburgh.

Since 1726 we have been investing in discovery science that changes life courses and population health for the better, we are learning from and leaning into global knowledges from peoples, place and planet, nurturing a transdisciplinary ecosystem that recognises that as the world challenges are interconnected, so too are the solutions.

Join us for this research symposium which spotlights some of our research partnerships. Alongside keynote addresses, panel discussions led by representatives from across the world, showcases of research and student-led presentations there will also be networking opportunities.

This symposium is ideal for healthcare professionals, researchers, students, policymakers, and anyone interested in the future of global health. This event is open to all, and we welcome attendees from across Edinburgh, Scotland, and beyond.
